“Smart Devices, Perfect Connection”
Introduces Innovation in Nurse Call Systems.
“There is no control unit present.”
The devices are all “intelligent” and are connected to each other via CAN-BUS communication.
“Uninterrupted Reliability”
Designed with a redundant power system that ensures there are no communication losses in departments in the event of a power supply failure.
Diagnostics are regularly indicated by the management program itself.
“Intuitive for Doctors and Technicians”
Designed to be used simply and intuitively by medical personnel and by maintenance personnel or installers.
In science, "Epsilon" represents something small but essential, something that can make a difference in crucial moments. Inspired by this concept, Lomar has renamed its smart call system Epsilom. Designed to provide a quick and discreet connection between patient and nurse, Epsilom is always ready to respond when needed. Thanks to advanced technology and artificial intelligence, the system optimizes communications, prioritizes requests, and ensures targeted care, improving the well-being of each patient precisely when it matters most.

PC Touch Guardiola with Intuitive Interface
Video Terminal with Touch-Screen PC 15.6” display (1366 x 768) for call management and event logging across all departments, equipped with Lomar Call Monitor management software and compatible with Windows 10/11. It adapts to any environment as it can be placed on a desk or mounted on a wall. The three system access levels—healthcare operator, maintenance technician, programmer—allow departments to manage expansions, replacements, and diagnostics independently. Each event is displayed to the user and recorded, so it can be reviewed later if necessary. The management interface is simple and intuitive, enabling healthcare staff to operate it effectively without the need for formal training. The combination of the bedhead unit and the Lomar nurse call system allows the nursing station software to control bedhead lighting and configure the operation of the night light with preset schedules and brightness levels.

Communications Operations
With Healthcare Personnel
4.3” Touch-Screen Graphic Display A latest-generation, backlit, color graphic touch-screen display compatible with the use of medical gloves. The module enables call visualization by indicating the department, room, and patient bed number. It includes touch-screen keys for room reset, nurse presence, and emergency calls to medical staff, along with additional buttons for doctor call and resuscitation call. The module is installed inside the patient room. Equipped with a speaker and a “follow me” function, the device allows the nurse to be reached in the room where her presence has been registered, even when calls are made from other rooms. The aluminum housing protects the device from impacts. The wall-mounting plate is compatible with standard civil electrical boxes (2–3–4 modules). Main Features: Visualization of ongoing calls and events Repetition of ongoing calls with alert ringtone Diagnostic functions
Touch Room Display with Intercom
Two-Way Communication
4.3” Touch-Screen Graphic Display with Intercom A color graphic touch-screen display with all the functions of a standard room display. The addition of the intercom module enables two-way communication management with the nurse station or directly with patient rooms. The system can automatically detect, based on the active call, which intercom modules to present to the user. Versions with additional keys are available for quick calls, such as a rapid call to the nurse station or a broadcast call to all modules (announcement). Privacy control can also be activated, with calls announced by an acoustic tone and the option to mute the in-room microphones.

Communication with Filter Areas and Bed Head
Two-Way Communication
Intercom Modules The intercom modules are easy to use and install. They can be placed in standard 6/7-module boxes and are supplied with support and cover plate. These modules provide healthcare staff with various functions to communicate directly with patients, reducing response times. Thanks to the system’s modularity, the buttons can be assigned customized functions tailored to the specific needs of each department.

NFC Technology for Display
Track Events
All versions of the 4.3” color graphic touch-screen displays can be equipped with the NCF module. The module allows nurse presence detection in a standard generic mode or, alternatively, with full identification of the medical staff (name and surname) registering their presence in the rooms. All activities are tracked and reported to the nurse station PC, including intervention times and event resolutions. The devices are supplied with NCF modules in different formats for healthcare staff to choose from, such as wristbands, medallions, or cards. Programming is simple and can be performed either by medical personnel or maintenance staff.

Patient Button Panels
Button panels
The M03051000 module enables magnetic connection of the call button panel. It can be installed on existing bedhead beams or on the wall. The module is supplied with a support and 3-module cover plate. The versions and functions of this device are described in the dedicated section.

Additional Versions
Button Panels
Nurse Call Panels with various options and a magnetic pendant, mountable on the wall or bedhead for panel attachment.

Blow-to-Call
Button Panels
During standby, the blow-to-call actuator is backlit with white light, making it easy to locate even in the dark, and it can also function as a night light.
When the patient blows into the actuator, a red “comfort” light turns on, which is also visible to the patient.

Push-button panels for non-self-sufficient patients
Customizable ergonomics, easy to use, maximum compatibility
The push-button control is suitable for patients with limited mobility. The device's activation times can be set using the monitor software, allowing medical staff to adjust the sensitivity for each patient.

Bathroom or Common Area Management Modules

It is supplied with a 503 support and cover plate, also available in an antibacterial version. The red ball, approximately 25 mm in diameter, keeps the cord away from the wall for easy visibility and grasp. When the call button is pressed, it becomes brighter and turns red to indicate that a call has been made, in accordance with VDE regulations. The module also includes an additional non-pull button for nurse call.

Electric Shutter Management
Automated roller shutter management with centralized integration
- EPSILOM Nurse Call System - QP Lighting Management System - Access Control System The up and down control of blinds can be managed via a dedicated module, installable in a standard 503 box with support and cover plate. The buttons feature subtle backlighting and an indicator light to signal when a command has been executed. Alternatively, a flush-mounted polyester keyboard (2 mm thick) with integrated LEDs for various indications is available. In patient rooms equipped with a bedhead beam with the Epsilom call system, the blinds can also be controlled directly from the nurse call panel using dedicated Up/Down buttons. The system communicates via CAN-BUS using the Lomar protocol. By adding a board with inputs and outputs connected to the CAN-BUS, it is possible to interface standard civil-series buttons, flush-mounted keyboards, and the control panels integrated into the bedhead beams. Centralized control of the blinds is also possible via PC with dedicated software, allowing configuration of various parameters

The device is visible and readable up to 70 meters away and is equipped with a buzzer to alert personnel.
Efficiency and Energy Savings
Every device produced by Lomar is managed via CAN-BUS protocol from a single department computer. Both medical and technical hospital staff can monitor each piece of equipment, including diagnostics and operation. All bedhead units in a department can be managed centrally, setting maximum and minimum values for direct and indirect lighting, avoiding unnecessary full-power operation of all devices. All lights can be switched off simultaneously via software command, with instant effect. Nightlight values can be set freely, and an automatic schedule can be configured so that all devices switch to night mode simultaneously. No external timers or additional wiring are required. If needed, a healthcare operator can manually switch a bedhead from night mode to day mode, and once the operation is complete, the unit returns to its previously set state.

Lighting and Scenario Management
Each bedhead unit offers a range of lighting control options. Classic activation using standard civil-series buttons is available, as well as a specially designed Lomar polyester keyboard, highly resistant to breakage, featuring all light controls along with a “confirmation” LED for executed commands. These basic controls can also be complemented by a pendant panel with a non-polarized magnetic connection, managing reading and indirect lighting. Integrated with the nurse call system, the bedhead units become part of the overall system and can be managed directly via the nurse station software. It is therefore possible to set schedules and values for night lights, as well as maximum and minimum levels for direct and indirect lighting, without requiring additional wiring or external devices such as timers or clocks.
