As with the model from which it derives, the upper end caps are drilled to allow the electrical and gas services to reach their dedicated, mechanically separated compartments. It is wall-mounted, with the lower section raised 300 to 500 mm from the floor and the upper section flush with the false ceiling. Thanks to its clean design and wide range of colors and finishes, customers can customize it to best suit the patient's needs.

The bedhead beam's load-bearing structure is made from a combination of six extruded aluminum profiles, resulting in a modern, compact, yet functional aesthetic with rounded shapes and an absence of sharp edges. The side profiles contain, with appropriate divisions and separations, the 230V electrical wiring for powering sockets, buttons, and switches, as well as the low-voltage wiring for data, telephone, call systems, alarms, and diagnostics, the lighting system management board, DIN-rail terminal blocks, and the general grounding node. The central section houses the piping and connections for the medical gas sockets, separated by appropriate watertight partitions. On the outside, the electrical components—supports, plates, call systems, voice, and equipotential sockets—are located on the sides.

The product can also be supplied in a compact version , in which case the beam does not reach the false ceiling, therefore the gas and electrical services arrive directly from under the wall by means of rear slots machined into the bottom of the beam.

Among the various surface finishes available, there are also those with a wood effect, obtained thanks to a chemical anodization process and two-tone painting, all at the customer's discretion, which give the bedhead beam an elegant appearance that integrates completely with the furnishings of the hospital room in which it will be installed, aiming to recreate a more comfortable environment for the patient.
