The device is installed by mounting it to the wall at a height of 300 to 500 mm from the floor and sized to fit flush with the false ceiling, ensuring a pleasing aesthetic result thanks to its clean and compact shape. The main compartment houses all the utilities, including electrical and gas outlets, conveniently separated by watertight partitions in full compliance with current regulations. The exterior can be customized to the customer's taste, choosing from a wide range of colors and finishes to match the environment in which it will be installed.

The bedhead beam's load-bearing structure is made from a combination of three extruded aluminum profiles, resulting in a modern, compact, yet functional aesthetic with rounded shapes and an absence of sharp edges. The central profile encloses, with appropriate divisions and separations, the 230V electrical wiring for powering sockets, buttons, and switches, as well as the low-voltage wiring for data, telephone, call systems, alarms, and diagnostics, the lighting system management board, DIN-rail terminal blocks, and the general ground node. The piping and connections for medical gas sockets are separated by watertight partitions. On the outside, the electrical components—supports, plates, call systems, voice, and equipotential sockets—are located at the front.

The product can also be supplied in a compact version, in which case the beam does not reach the false ceiling, therefore the gas and electrical services arrive directly from under the wall by means of rear slots machined into the bottom of the beam.

Among the various surface finishes available, there are also those with a wood effect, obtained thanks to a chemical anodization process and two-tone painting, all at the customer's discretion, which give the bedhead beam an elegant appearance that integrates completely with the furnishings of the hospital room in which it will be installed, aiming to recreate a more comfortable environment for the patient.
