Intensive P

Intensive P is a medical device designed for those situations in which the presence of a large number of components in a single element is required.

The supporting structure of the bed head beam is made with a combination of extruded aluminum profiles, giving it a modern and functional aesthetic, free of sharp edges and characterized by rounded shapes.

The upper section contains, with appropriate divisions and separations, the 230V electrical wiring for powering sockets, buttons, and switches, as well as the low voltage wiring for data, telephone, LED lighting, call systems, alarms, diagnostics, a lighting management board, DIN rail terminal blocks, and a general ground node. The outer section houses the electrical components, plates, supports, call systems, equipotential sockets, and lighting devices for examination and reading lights.

The lower profiles, equipped with watertight partitions, house the piping and the connections for medical gas outlets. They are sized to accommodate both active and passive EGA outlets and can accommodate over 10 gas tubes. The lower closing element houses the LED lighting systems for examination and reading lights.

The in-house lighting system provides indirect lighting via upper LED bars, with variable intensity from 4000 to 8000 real lumens (not nominal) and available in 3000/4000/5000°K color temperatures. The upper night light is regulated by lowering the brightness to preset levels, which the customer can easily adjust to their needs.

For direct light for visiting and reading, small LED modules are used, placed in the front part of the bedhead, capable of providing an illumination level of between 1500 and 3000 real lumens per module, maintaining the same range of color temperatures.

The polycarbonate screens covering the LED systems are thin and linear, ensuring greater wear resistance and reduced maintenance. Furthermore, being recessed into the aluminum profiles, they create a smooth surface that reduces bacterial buildup and facilitates cleaning and sanitization by medical personnel, while also enhancing the design of the finished product.
